At Strathern Elementary School, we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. As a Title I Schoolwide Program, we use federal Title I resources to strengthen teaching and learning, provide meaningful academic support, and create opportunities for every student to reach their full potential.

 

What Is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program that helps schools provide students with a high-quality education and the support they need to meet challenging academic standards. As a schoolwide program, Title I resources may be used to strengthen our schoolwide instructional program and support the academic achievement of all students, with particular attention to students who may benefit from additional academic support.

 

Focused on Student Success

Our Title I program is aligned with Strathern Elementary’s School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). Through collaboration among our educators, School Site Council (SSC), families, and school community, we identify priorities, strengthen instruction, and use resources to support student achievement. Family engagement is an important part of student success. We encourage families to review our Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School-Parent Compact, participate in school meetings and workshops, provide feedback, and partner with teachers and staff to support their child’s learning.
